For Emma, filmmaking is when emotion turns into motion. With a background in both dance, theater and international commercial- film, she creates works where the narrative becomes a world on its own; with strong atmospheres, sound and cinematography. Curious to human relations and inner worlds, she reaches an audience with a range from vulnerability to euphoria. In 2023, Emma won a ‘Gouden Kalf’ for her directorial short film debut ‘Lucid dreaming’.
